STUDIO
Cantu Design is a multidisciplinary studio based in Seattle, USA and Den Haag, the Netherlands. Founded by principal designer John Cantu, the studio has delivered high-end designs to clients and some of the most exclusive shipyards around the world.
Using traditional hand sketches combined with CAD drawings and full 3D images and animations, Cantu Design develops projects in close collaboration with owners and their teams. Our goal is to create designs that reflect a client's iconic dream vessel through a clear and energized process.

HISTORY
Drawing on 15-plus years of experience within the marine sector, studio director John Cantu has worked on fully custom, semi-custom and production yachts ranging from 30-metres to 85-metres.
He has worked alongside some of the biggest names in the superyacht industry including Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design, Glade Johnson of GJDI and the late Björn Johansson of Björn Johansson Design.
His creativity is paired with his ability to devise carefully executed design solutions, a skill refined during his time at Delta Marine and Westport Yachts, the latter of which he served as its senior designer and was tasked with the styling for the shipyard’s latest line of superyacht models.
